The difference between ASTM A105 and ASTM A105N is that the “N” in A105N stands for Normalized, which means that the normalized A105N material has better mechanical properties and better corrosion resistance. Therefore, the A105N is generally more suitable for high temperature and high pressure operating environments than the ordinary A105.
