About 1050A Aluminium
1050A Aluminium alloy is one of the most popular grades of Aluminium used today. 1050A alloy has excellent corrosion resistance, high ductility, a moderate strength and a highly reflective finish.
This grade of alloy is most suitable of use as food industrial containers, architectural flashings, cable sheathings, lamp reflectors and chemical process plant equipment.
Tempering
The most common temper 1050A Aluminium is T4. The alloy is solution heat treated and naturally aged to a substantially stable condition.

Welding
1050A can be welded using both TIG and MIG processes, with the most common filler being either 4043 or 1050. Using 1050 as the filler will provide you with a much closer colour match. This filler can be resistance welded but the joints not be as strong of provide as much corrosion resistance as those welded with inert gas. Using 4043 will give the joint greater weld strength over 1050.
Annealing of 1050 Aluminium alloy takes place a 350℃
