NACE MR0175 or ISO 15156 Scope
NACE MR0175/ISO 15156 provides common rules, suggestions, and requirements for selecting qualified steel materials used in equipment for oil and gas production and in natural gas sweetening plants in H2S-containing environments. Failure of such equipment could pose a risk to human health and safety and could damage the environment.
NACE MR0175/ISO 15156 is also a recognized federal standard in the US for the petroleum and natural gas industries for materials used in H2S-containing environments in oil and gas production.
