What Is Pipe Spool Fabrication?

Pipe coils are fabricated off-site to reduce assembly time with various raw pipes and pipe fittings. These include flanges, elbows, tees and more. Raw pipes are pre-cut to precise sizes, along with pipe fittings and other components. They are temporarily joined together and this semi-finished assembly is welded to other coil components.

The pipe spooling process can be divided into two phases; spool roll fitting and welding and spool permanent position fitting and welding.
