C&N Group Successfully Completes Production of API 5L GR.B PSL2 Seamless Bends, Preparing for Delivery

Recently, C&N Group successfully completed batch production of ASME B16.49 seamless bends for a steel project of an Saudi Arabia customer. The products include 22.5°, 45° and 90° bends, all with a bending radius of 8D, made of API 5L GR.B PSL2 (X241). All bends have now entered the final inspection and packing stage. Dimensional, hardness and chemical composition re‑checks are being carried out to ensure all products are defect‑free and meet the stringent requirements for high‑pressure transmission fittings.

API 5L Grade B PSL2 is a carbon steel line pipe material fully compliant with API 5L and ISO 3183 industry standards. It delivers a minimum yield strength of 35,500 psi (245 MPa) and a minimum tensile strength of no less than 60,200 psi (415 MPa).
