UNS N06002 Creep rupture Stress Rupture Tests according to ASTM E139

NAS HX (UNS N06002) is a nickel-chromium-iron-molybdenum alloy with outstanding strength and oxidation resistance in temperatures reaching as high as 1200°C. With superior workability and weldability as well, it is excellent
for use in gas turbine members as well as various heating furnace parts. Nippon Yakin supplies this product in plate,
sheet, and strip forms.

ASTM E139-11(2018)  is the Standard Test Methods for Conducting Creep, Creep-Rupture, and Stress-Rupture Tests of Metallic Materials, our laboratory, which us ISO 17025 certified, conduct the test in below scope.

Stress – Rupture Properties at 1500 ˚F (816 ˚C): A tensile specimen, maintained at 1500 ˚F ± 3 (816˚C ± 2) while a load sufficient to produce an initial axial stress of 15.0 Ksi (103 MPa) or higher is applied continuously, shall not rupture in less than 24 hours. The test shall be continued to rupture without change of load. Elongation after rupture, measured at room temperature, shall be not less than 10% in 4D. Test shall be conducted in accordance with ASTM E 139.
